Blog Jornal 5!
I think that both Diigo and blogs are super useful class resources that I discovered and learned more about in the Web 2.0 podcast. I really like the idea of students doing blogs for class and maybe using it more often than assigned papers. It gives the student an opportunity to be creative and feel like their work is actually being read over and not just checked for grammar and just for a grade. It's more of a conversation at that point. I am also glad I have become more familiar with Diigo because that is a resource I'd like to use more in the future. As a student, you're always asking your friends anyway about what sources they used for a class assignment so now it's all in one spot and you can see what they annotated. This will also be super useful when it comes to group projects and in class assignments. I personally don't like the idea of using Twitter in the classroom just because I see that more as a source for entertainment and I'd like to keep that separate from the classroom.
So in a classroom I think I'd like to use Grammarly. It's a web tool that automatically checks your grammar in anything you write. I think this would be helpful because my students can become more aware of what they write wrong in everyday life and also in their class assignments. Such as tweets, emails, Facebook posts, and so on. I like this tool because it's an extension that can be attached to your web browser and it's just always on and it will just overall improve your writing.

I really believe that Personal Learning Environments would be a cool thing to add to a classroom. Because through this, students can go through the class material at their own time and go over what they need more help on. I do think that their is a danger with adding too much technology in a classroom. Students become so accustomed to virtual realities and virtual classrooms that they forget how to be social. I think the social aspect is a very important part of learning.
